03.11.05 Anyone know of the wherabouts of the book by Alan Sherry 'Blackburns Dumbarton Aircraft Factory' please contact us.This small booklet is now out of print and I would like to add it to our collection.

A booklet titled 'Aircraft of the British Empire 1937' Author Leonard Bridgeman and published by Sampson Low has been purchased from a local 2nd hand books shop.

It has the photo above in it, and of course Caledonia is not a new name in aviation circles.

'Clyde Shipwrecks' by Peter Moir and Ian Crawford is interesting in that it has a very interesting article about a Catalina that sunk off the isle of Cumbrae.The ISBN for this book is 0 9513366 2 2.This book is part of the Scottish Shipwrecks series.

'C' a regular contact on the website, has suggested 'The Clyde at War' ISBN 1841581879 by Brian D. Osborne,Author,Ronald Armstrong,Author I quote from the forward 'This book is a magnificient picture of a nation at war and the mighty river which was its lifeline.'
