| Who are Clyde Aviation?Clyde Aviation has come about because of a chance meeting of individuals including Ray, John, and others who have similar interests. Both Ray and John reside in Scotland and their connections with aviation are as follows:
So it was not surprising that the two came together to create an interest in Aviation in Clydeside. This happened in 2005, at a time during which the end of the Second World War was being celebrated. We hope that all who visit this site will enjoy it and find it of interest. We will be pleased to hear of anyone having information that will add to that already given. If you have any Images or photographs that you would like us to add we will look at and decide if they are suitable for publication on the site. If you have links that are not currently shown on the site that you feel would enhance the site, then let us have a look at these too. Your contribution will increase the knowledge we can place before the community, not just locally, but worldwide. Our prime objective is to build up a site giving access to all relevant Aviation history in the vincinity of the Clyde. Flying Boats, Seaplanes, Monoplanes, Bi-Planes, Helicopters etc. We are planning to add a section dealing with Seaplane tenders, and would welcome any information that any of our users could provide. Looking forward to some valued contacts and communications with all who are interested, Thank You |
